Cookie Policy
Dracobyte LLC | Dracobyte | Effective April 20, 2026
Dracobyte uses only strictly necessary cookies and the Cloudflare Turnstile challenge. We do not use analytics cookies, advertising cookies, or cross-site tracking.
1. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device when you visit. Similar technologies include pixel tags, local storage, and device fingerprinting. This policy uses "cookies" to cover all such technologies.
2. Cookies We Use
| Cookie / Identifier | Purpose | Type | Typical Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| Session cookie | Keep you signed in to the control panel | Strictly necessary | Session or up to 7 days |
| CSRF token | Protect forms against cross-site request forgery | Strictly necessary | Session |
| Preference cookie (language, theme) | Remember language or theme you selected | Functional | Up to 12 months |
| Cloudflare Turnstile | Verify that a visitor is human, not an automated bot | Security | Short-lived; typically minutes |
| Cloudflare __cf_bm | Fight malicious bots and threats across the Cloudflare network | Security | 30 minutes after the last activity |
3. What We Do Not Use
- We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any other third-party analytics service.
- We do not run advertising cookies.
- We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
- We do not fingerprint your device for profiling purposes.
4. How to Control Cookies
Because all of the cookies we set are strictly necessary for the Service or for security, there is no cookie consent banner for analytics. You may clear cookies through your browser, but doing so will sign you out of the control panel and may require you to solve additional Cloudflare Turnstile challenges.
Users in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom. Our session cookie, CSRF token, and Cloudflare security cookies rely on the strictly necessary exemption under Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive (2002/58/EC, as amended) and its national implementations, including the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations. Consistent with the European Data Protection Board Guidelines 2/2023 on the technical scope of Article 5(3), our language and theme preference cookie is treated as functional rather than strictly necessary. For EEA and UK users, the preference cookie is set only after affirmative opt-in through a granular cookie banner that meets the consent standard in Article 4(11) of the GDPR. The Service's core functionality is available without the preference cookie; declining it will reset your language and theme selections each session. If we ever introduce analytics or advertising cookies, we will extend the same opt-in banner to those categories before setting any such cookie.
